LORRAINE BARNETT MIAPH
Lorraine has a background of nursing as a State Registered
Nurse, having trained at St Georges Hospital, Hyde Park Corner
in London, before going into business for many years.
She eventually gave up her business career to pursue her desire
to practice hypnotherapy and to be able to use her considerable
life experience and the extensive knowledge gained from her
training in hypnotherapy with the IAPH to help other people
resolve issues and problems.
JULIA CRISFIELD MIAPH
Julia has worked in the field of special needs for more
than 20 years and has a wealth of experience in dealing
with children and young adults. In addition to education,
she has a professional background in nursing, counselling
and sexual abuse. She also has had more than her share of
life experience.
Our Bristol hypnotherapy practice is situated in Clifton
Village in Bristol.
There are many hypnotherapists in Bristol, but we are two
of very few who are qualified to practice Hypnoanalysis
in this area.
Members of the IAPH
We are fully qualified members of the International
Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts, the IAPH. As members,
we must pass detailed written examinations, abide by the
rules of the Association, and engage in continuous professional
development training programs to ensure that we remain up
to date in all areas of research, development and current
issues.
All members are required to carry Professional Indemnity
Insurance.
Free Initial Consultation
We offer a free 20 – 30 minute, initial consultation
to discuss your individual problems. This is a chance for
us to meet each other and to decide on the best and most
appropriate therapy for you.
Some people are eager to proceed with a full session at
this first meeting but this will depend on availability.
A therapy session lasts about 50 minutes.
Session Fees (subject to change)
Per Session £55.00
Smoking Cessation £95.00
Payment to therapist by cheque or cash only.
Please Note: We regret that our present therapy facility
has no disabled access.
Cancellation
We normally ask you to pay for missed appointments or those
cancelled at less that 24 hours’ notice. This practice
is normal amongst professional therapists and we ask to
use consideration in keeping your appointment.
